  I just set up free site. I entered my ‘example’ and clicked on wordpress.com. I tried to click on the save button, but was not highlighted. I got it of it, and it came back ‘home.blog’. Suffice to say I cannot enter that into my browser. How do I fix this?

  Enter what into your browser? Please try to explain more clear what you’re trying to accomplish. Do you mean that you obtained a .home.blog subdomain when you wanted a .wordpress.com subdomain?

  Thank you. Thought so. I started a thread on this issue a little over a week ago. See Unable to obtain MYSITE.wordpress.com subdomains. I wasn’t entirely satisfied with the responses from staff, but there is a way to obtain a .wordpress.com address instead of a .blog address that involves leaving the questionnaire blank at the Create a Site page, and clicking the Continue button.

  While that didn’t work for me on 7 May, in my first attempts that day, it has worked every time since then, including a minute ago. Give it a try.
