address bar shows title from previous draft

    I like to put temporary titles in drafts, then change them as they are finished. Twice now I can’t copy/paste the post from the address bar link because it shows and “old” title. I put the latest blog link on my facebook page, but I’ve had to go convert the address that shows in Tiny Url to make the link copy correctly.
    Does this have anything to do with working the title change AFTER I’ve scheduled the post? Sometimes I make changes to scheduled posts, too.

    Example: today’s post is titled: Cornering the Umbrella Market in a Drought, but the address bar shows:

    Cornering the Umbrella Market in a Drought

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    The Title and URL of a post are related by default. When you initially type the title of your post, the post slug (used in the permalink/URL) is automatically created. If you choose to use temporary titles in drafts and replace them later then you must change the post slug as well as the title.

    Thank you very much. I would never have figured that out by myself.

    @oldjules
    It’s not exactly obvious to most bloggers that if they change the post title then they must also change the post slug prior to publishing the post. You’re welcome and happy blogging. :)
