  I have been looking at my site and it appears to have a whole bunch of adds on it. I don’t remember any of them appearing when I set up the site. Why are they here and how do I get rid of them?

  To eliminate ads on your website, You can upgrade to WordPress.com Pro or you can either stay on the Free or Starter plan or choose to purchase the No Ads Add-on from Tools → Marketing.
