adds on my wordpress

  HI WordPress,
  I pay money each year to you guys and now i get google adds on my wordpress.. part of the reason why i went with wordpress was cause i don’t want adds on my blog.. did i agree in the terms and conditions when i joined with wordpress, for this to happen. please take the adds away from my blog, i don’t want to be part of google add sense program. thanks, Jamison http://www.jamoon.org

  Why do you pay money? WordPress.com is free to use.

  If you look at the Terms of Service they say WP will run ads from time to time on your blog UNLESS you purchase the No Ads upgrade.

  If you want to communicate directly with staff, the forum’s not the best place. Use the Contact Support button on your dashboard.

  You’ve been here for two years according to your profile.

  I’ve been here for over three years, and if you look at the very bottom of the “features” page you will see where they say they run ads: http://en.wordpress.com/features/ .

  On 9/6/06, Matt announced on the wordpress.COM blog, that they were going to run ads: http://en.blog.wordpress.com/2006/09/06/on-ads/ .

  On 9/18/08, they announced the “no-ads” upgrade.

  This is hardly a new thing here – nearly 4 years old actually.
