AddThis widget

  Hello,
  I am trying to add the AddThis widget to my newly created (read highly-inexperienced, knows no code).
  The problem I am encountering is that the directions:
  http://www.addthis.com/web-button?type=bm&where=wordpress&wp=org&url=&bm=bn3&analytics=0&clickbacks=1

  Step #2 says to click on the “plugins” link in the Appearance section. I have an appearance section but it does not have a plugins to click on… a simple problem that is driving me maddd… help please…!!

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Sorry, plugins are not allowed on blogs at wordpress.COM for security reasons. Plugins are for self-hosted blogs using the software from wordpress.ORG.

  We can however use addthis as outlined here.
