Adelle Theme: center hover background and decrease widget space

  I almost have my blog looking how I want it. A couple of questions.

  1. On my menu current items, my hover color is not centered over the menu item. Is there any way to make it centered?

  2. I have decreased the space underneath my widgets, but there is still too much space under the text of my gravatar widget. How can I decrease this?

  Timethief, I have NOT done anything wrong and I am not “thread trawling”..

  Also, you can not really tell me what to do, cause your NOT staff..

  I have done nothing wrong….

  1. Remove this from your CSS

  .navigation-main li.current_page_item a, .navigation-main li.current-menu-item a {
  background: #FE4365;
  }

  and use this instead, which is one way to fix it.

  .current-menu-item {
  background: #FE4365;
  }
  
  .navigation-main a {
  padding-left: 1.4em;
  }

  Make sure and click around on the other menu tabs to make sure they look right when they are the current page.

  2. This specifically targets the gravatar widget and leaves all other paragraph elements in widgets as they are. You can of course adjust the 0 value if you want a little more space between the bottom line and the text.
