adf.ly link TO WordPress not within WordPress

  i know that i am not allowed to put adf.ly links IN my blog. i honor that rule. but a friend recently told me that he would put an outside adf.ly link on forums he’s a member of (not wordpress forum) directing people TO my blog and, therefore, TO WordPress. That’s different. I realize now I have no control with what people do with URLs. What does WordPress think of this? Thanks for the prompt reply!

  1 month and two days to the day i asked a question. this is hopeless. no support at all. shame!
