adjusting footer column widths
-
Hello, I have 3 columns in my footer, all the same width. It looks odd because one column is just holding my menu which is very slim. I need this column (left) to be narrowed.
Is it then possible to, instead of stretching the other 2 columns wider, just increasing the gap between the columns, so they are a little bit more spaced? Their size would stay the same.
this is my site: http://www.melsmithdesigns.com
Thanks!

Hi Mel, could you provide a link to the WordPress.com site you need help with?
If you need help customizing the Avada premium theme on melsmithdesigns.com you’ll need to get in touch with Avada support directly. That’s not a theme we offer here, and this forum is for WordPress.com support only. Good luck!

ah ok, so it’s an Avada thing rather than WordPress – even though i’m editing the layout within WordPress?
the melsmithdeisgns.com address is the site in question.
thanks!

In either case, this forum is for folks hosted here on WordPress.com. :-) Since you’re self-hosting on Bluehost, and you’re using a theme not available here on WordPress.com, this isn’t something we can help you with.
If you think your question isn’t specific to your theme, you could try asking in the general WordPress.org support forums:
https://wordpress.org/support/
You’ll need a free WordPress.org account to post – if you don’t already have one, you can register here:

You can learn more about the differences between WordPress.com and self-hosted (WordPress.org) sites here:
