I want to put my About Page at the top of my menu so that visitors will see it immediately when they come to my site. I haven’t succeeded yet.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Looks like you have a menu item titled “About Page”, however it points to your home page.
First, it looks like you haven’t created an “About” page yet:

Once you create that page, you can add it to your menu here:

Shawna, thank you for your response. Actually I do have an “About Page” but it’s at the very back of my blogsite since its my first entry. I’m a novice at this, and thought that when I put the words “About Page” on the menu board, the About Page and the information in it would be added also. Obviously it didn’t work. Where did I go wrong?

Ahha! Thanks for explaining. :)
First, let’s turn that post into a page. Generally, Pages are meant for static content, such as an About page or a Contact page. To turn your post into a page, open the post in the editor:

Move to the HTML editor:
Copy the entire contents of the text box.
Now, you’ll want to paste that into a new page:

Edit the title and publish when you’re ready.
Next, we’ll set up your menu. We’re going to start at the menu editor here:
https://wordpress.com/menus/biblentsermons.wordpress.com
First, edit the title on your current menu item. Since that’s a link to your home page, let’s call it “Home”.
Next, we’ll want to add a new menu item. You can do this by clicking on the + on the right. You’ll get to choose a place to put the menu item.
Once you’ve done that, a new pane will open that let’s you pick what the menu item is. Since we’re adding a Page, make sure “Pages” is selected on the left side of the pop up, then select the About page from the ones listed. Last, click on “Add Item”.
Hope this clarifies things! Let me know if I can help further!
