Admin and Editors cannot edit other people's posts

    II tried using Beep Beep Boop editor to edit someone else’s post on my blog. After making changes, I pressed the update button and got the following error:

    An error occurred while saving the post.
    Assigned author cannot publish post.

    The new editor is bad enough, but I can live with it. However, the inability to edit other author’s posts is a disaster. I have 100s of editors on my site and we are now unable to maintain the site.

    Please helkp fix this devastating bug

    Hi there!

    Thanks for reporting this issue! I just tested this out with the help of a few of the other Happiness Engineers and was able to replicate this. I’ll write up a report for our developers to take a look.

    In the meantime, your editors can still edit posts through the traditional dashboard editor. They’ll need to visit Posts in the dashboard and find the appropriate post there.

    I’ll let you know as soon as we’ve got this fixed!
