Admin Bar

  I want to make by blog public, but my admin bar/dashboard private. How do I do that? When I do a search on all the engines, it pulls up my blog with the admin bar and anyone could go in and reset my settings. YIKES! I’ve tried everything to remove that portion of my blog to the public.

  Hi there!

  The admin bar (the black bar at the top) is only visible for you while you are logged in to WordPress.com. So when I visit your site, I just get this:

  http://d.pr/i/RYO6

  … which is just like any other normal website. :)

  There’s no black bar because I’m not logged in. Even if I was logged in to WordPress.com and went to your site, I couldn’t access the settings or anything like that.

  Basically, only you can see the black bar and get to the settings and so on, nobody else can. :)
