Admin Bar in Forums FUBAR

It’s simply not there (a big gap between the forum links bar and the browser address bar) and all the links in the admin bar are trailing down at the bottom of the page content.
Additionally, both Chrome and FF are displaying shields meaning there’s non-secure content trying to be displayed.
Seems to be OK in the WP Admin dashboard.
Both in Chrome Version 46.0.2490.71 m and FireFox 41.0.2

FWIW I’m using Firefox 41.0 on a PC loaded with Windows 7 and I see a normal display (no shields either).

I am experiencing the same issue. Based on past experience with weird behavior, I suspect that the issue is coming from a faulty server in a particular datacenter. That would be why @justjennifer and I are seeing it while @timethief is not. Hopefully it will be cleaned up soon.

Oops! Cancel that. The bottom of the pages for me is now FUBAR too. Everything that used to be in the Admin bar at the top is now displaying in a trailing column at the bottom just like justjennifer describes above.

I thought is was a new “feature” designed to irritate me :)
The top nav bar is missing also for me and the bottom has all my sites and the links normally in the top Nav. bar – it has been erratic for a while and a couple of times the display was correct – maybe a caching issue – I am using Firefox – latest on Win Vista

SNORT! Note what’s to come is even more new editor changes, and after the annual company bonding session I’m pretty sure there will be yet more UI changes that will irritate. The way I chose to deal with the 2 years of irritating changes was to stop blogging twice weekly, lest I started publishing 2 weekly rants about such irritations.

@TT – always a bad sign when they get together at the bonding meetup – I always expect surprises during and after those events – have seen many times people start the one up thing on changes or inspections
time will tell and I do sit down when visiting here

Nah, not going to get my knickers in a bind over the Admin bar. Just thought it was curious that no one else had mentioned it yet.
Sort of like the Emperor’s New Clothes. :)

The Admin bar is appearing on sites I visit and the shield does not appear on them so it must be a bbpress issue, no?

Really no need for the modlook tag either, which is why I took it off. Staff have enough catching up to do as it is.
If the problem still exists tomorrow morning I’ll add it back.
