admin bar not showing

  I have hired someone to create content for me and have made an account for them as an author. They have told me that they do not have access to the admin bar. I have checked to make sure the checkbox ‘show toolbar when viewing site’ is checked and also checked the code is correct in the footer php.

  Also, the login for admins/authors is the same as for users (subscribers), this may be contributing to the problem? If someone can help fix one/both of these problems that’d be great!

  Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider. We’re only able to help with sites hosted on our servers at WordPress.com.
