Admin bar not showing on home page and others

    Feeling really stupid after all these years, but I logged out of WordPress for the first time in ages. When I logged back in (after finally finding the login page), the Admin Bar no longer shows on my home page or other post or archive pages (any that my readers can see). It does show on all admin pages (those my readers can’t see). How do I get it to show again on my home page? That’s my entire base of operations!

    (I’m using Chrome on a Mac. I just cleared out hundreds of old cookies. Did that mess things up?)

    Never mind. I found a two-year old post of mine about the same problem. The solution was to enable third-party cookies. Seems like I shouldn’t have to do that if I’ve whitelisted WordPress …
