Admin Bar Notifications of New Posts on Subscribed Blogs
-
The blogs I’m subscribed to have pushed out new posts over the past few days, but the “New” button that used to show up on the “Read My Subscriptions” link in the WordPress.com Admin bar has gone missing. Doesn’t seem to matter which browser I’m using.
Is anyone else experiencing this?

Yes.
A few of the blogs I’m subscribed to get updated daily but that new just doesn’t show up. -
Here is a response I found on the matter via the French forum…
I contacted the help desk and apparently if you can not see the “NEW” is normal. They kidnapped him. >. <
Here is the response I got;
“Hi,
Recently We removed the ‘New’ From The notification feature bar subscriptions.
This feature IS Currently under construction, and May Be available again at a Later date.
If You Have Any more questions, feel free to reply back and we’ll be happy to assist. ”quote source → http://fr.forums.wordpress.com/topic/notification-de-read-my-subscriptions/page/2?replies=13#post-11228

A lack of a notification banner has caused me to now change most of my subscription delivery preferences to receive an email rather than to read onsite. Just a a lot more mail to handle.
And, if the blog owner has set their blog feed preference to deliver the full post, there will be fewer site visits from me and others resulting in lower visitor stats.
