admin bar vanishes on custom domain site
-
A question – my admin bar disappears whenever I visit a site with a custom domain. I use MS Edge as my primary browser. If I use IE 11, the admin bar is present and I’m able to use the *like* button. Is this a coding/security issue within the browser, or something else?
Platform: Windows 10 (version 1809) Browser: MS Edge

Hi there!
I am happy to clarify this for you.
A question – my admin bar disappears whenever I visit a site with a custom domain.
If you’re logged into WordPress.com and visit a site hosted on WordPress.com, you’ll see the admin bar on the top. But you won’t see the admin bar if you open a self-hosted site, i.e. a website which is using the open source WordPress installation.
On which site you are not able to see the admin bar?
If I use IE 11, the admin bar is present and I’m able to use the *like* button.
It seems you are able to use the Likes button on IE 11 but not on MS Edge.Visitors must be logged into WordPress.com in order to use the Like buttonTo track your login to WordPress.com, we make use of third-party cookies.
Do you allow third-party cookies on MS Edge? There is a test on this page to check it.
