admin email for transferring domain registrar

Hi,
I’m trying to transfer my registrar away from WordPress.com to godaddy.com for the domain http://www.lowmoonoverhightown.com (I’m still going to keep my wordpress blog just intergrate it into a new Big Cartel site).
Anyhow, I’ve started the transfer, bought the domain transfer with godaddy.com and followed the instructions on WordPress. Where I’m stuck is with the following instruction:
8. Select the domain you want to transfer. Note that you will not see the domain listed in the Pending Transfers section until you complete the transfer initiation steps at your new registrar. This usually includes following the steps in a transfer authorization email sent to the domain name’s administrative contact. Make sure you complete those steps with your new registrar before checking the Pending Transfers section in your current domain manager here at WordPress.com.
I’ve completed the steps with godaddy.com but they’ve sent me an email stating:
To complete this transfer, we need approval of the administrative contact for this domain name. However, the administrative email address obtained from your current registrar is invalid, or could not be obtained.
The current administrative email address is . [THIS IS BLANK – MY TYPING]
On my wordpress DNS account the admin email is listed as: (email visible only to moderators and staff).
This isn’t the same as the hotmail account associated with my wordpress account (which still recieves email fine, such as the authorisation code for transfers etc)
I think I might need to take off the privacy settings on my wordpress.com account so that godaddy.com can access my information but I don’t know how to do that?

I have disabled private registration on your domain.
You should now be able to transfer it without issue.

I am sucessively transferred my domain registrar, but when i now go to delete my old wordpress site it still says:
“Warning! You cannot delete a blog if the blog has a domain registration upgrade. You must have access to the blog in order to get to the domain manager.”

I’ll need to cancel the email from your account. Before I do that, would you please make sure that the transfer has completed?

I’ve received an email from support@wordpress.com saying:
“Your recent domain name transfer: SORRY TO SEE YOU GO. WE’LL ALWAYS WELCOME YOU BACK.”
Does that show the transfer is complete?

thankyou, i have now succesfully deleted the site. however, the stampthewax.wordpress.com site still comes up on google when i type stamp the wax. when will this be removed?

We have no control over Google’s index. They should eventually notice that the site is gone and remove it from their results.
