i have a website lisasdoggydaycare.com which i have paid for and when i try to login it brings me to a strange free site which looks like its from years ago, my site is fully functional and has several pages but this page i keep being directed to when i enter /admin and my password isn’t my site but is my site name !

Your site is hosted with HostGator rather than being hosted here on the WPcom platform. To log in there, you would either use the WP login link on your domain or log in at your hosting provider.
In general, for help with a site using the open source WP software, you’ll want to head over to https://wordpress.org/support/ where you’ll find documentation and users who have more experience with the software you are using. If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums you can register one on the top of that page.
Just to clarify, this support forum assists users hosted on the WPcom platform. WPcom (where we are ) and WP are separate entities with different documentation and support forums. More information about the differences can be found here: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
