Admin interface outdated,

    I do not have the upload theme in my appearance menu. I think it may be one of two things. I have the same issues as the person in this thread: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/help-installing-theme-into-wordpress

    Is there a “how to” reinstall WP fresh without the redirect?
    Or is it possible that since my “Primary Blog” is named with “…xxx.wordpress.com”, that it’s not allowing me the hosting admin panel? Even in the “Blog URL” drop down list in the support form is not showing the sandypucblog.com option. Only the sandypucblog.wordpress.com option.

    I have no Plugins tab, no “You are using WordPress x.xx” information. I am just trying to upload a theme I purchased to the blog and have hosting with Godaddy. So, all I need is the admin capabilities to work through WordPress.

    Hi there,

    It looks like you’re mixing up WordPress.com and WordPress.org.

    The site you reference is a WordPress.org support forum – we are WordPress.com.

    If you have hosting and custom domain, you definitely want WordPress.org!
