  I am trying to login to the admin version of my website to continue building it. Purewash-exteriors.com. When I try to reset my password it says that my email is not registered with a WP account. I know that it is and therefore cannot even reset my password because it won’t accept my email. What do I do?

  I’m having the exact same problem with my websites (hilaratzabi.com, redsofasalon.com). Can’t log in to either and it says my email is not registered with a WP account. I tried resetting my password but nothing arrived at my two different email addresses…

  Hi there!

  I’m afraid that your sites are not hosted with WordPress.com. They are using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted elsewhere.

  Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
