admin login changed by employee that left

    I have a user name and password that gets me in to our website which is not hosted by wordpress but is setup to make changes to the site using wordpress however, an employee that left abruptly left our employ and changed the admin complete login and password information and we can’t login as admin???

    I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

    Hi there,

    The password for your admin account for that site is stored in your site’s database on your hosting provider’s servers, so contacting them directly is your best bet for getting help with this – you should be able to change the admin credentials directly in the database, which you host can help you access, but you might also be able to do this directly via your hosting control panel if your host offers such an option, or their support can reset it for you.
