Admin page access

  Hi, I recently had issues with my site not being accessible after my domain hosting site rerouted my domain elsewhere. Once they set it back up with wordpress, I can now see my website again but CANNOT access the admin page. It shows error http 500. Can you explain this to someone not techy like myself?
