Admin Page Access Error
-
I trust this message finds you well. My name is Gagandeep Kaur, and I am reaching out to bring to your attention a critical issue I am currently facing with my WordPress website, specifically concerning the Rishi theme.
On 14 Feb 2024, I sought assistance from the Rishi Theme Help Desk to address an issue on my website. During this interaction, I received guidance from a support article which suggested changing the site URL to ‘Rishithemes.com’ as a solution.
Following the given instructions, I made the recommended changes to the site URL. However, since implementing this modification, a significant problem has arisen—I am unable to access my WordPress admin page. Instead, a persistent ‘Error 404 – Page Not Found’ message appears, and my website automatically redirects to ‘rishi themes.’
It is important to note that my hosting is through Hostinger.in and managed by WordPress.
This situation has caused immense inconvenience and frustration as it hampers my ability to manage and update my website through the WordPress admin panel. The inability to access the admin page is disrupting routine tasks and compromising the overall functionality of my website.
I am reaching out to you to request your immediate attention to this matter and a prompt resolution to restore the normal functioning of my WordPress admin page. I suspect there might be an issue with the instructions provided or a potential miscommunication that has led to this problem.
I kindly ask for clear guidance on how to rectify this situation and regain access to my WordPress admin page. Furthermore, any assistance you can provide to ensure that my website redirects appropriately without causing disruptions to the admin login would be greatly appreciated.
For your convenience, I have attached relevant screenshots and details of the error for your reference. Your swift attention to this matter is crucial, as the performance and accessibility of my website are integral to my online presence.

Hi there,
Apologies, but we can’t help with your issue directly because we don’t host your site on our WordPress.com managed hosting.
To explain, we are a fully managed hosting provider and use a custom server environment that is optimized for WordPress, provides built-in security and performance improvements, as well as in-house support for your site questions. You can learn more about the performance and security benefits of our managed hosting here: https://wordpress.com/hosting/
Because of the way we’ve optimized our service, we also use a customized version of WordPress that is different (under the hood) from what you use at your current provider. As a result, we do not have access to your site and are not familiar with the source of your issue.
You definitely have the option to move your site to us so we can provide in-house help, and we offer a migration plugin that will help you move your site to our managed hosting in just a few clicks.
Use the Move to WordPress.com plugin to migrate a self-hosted WordPress site to WordPress.com. Follow the steps in this guide to import your site (including your content, media, plugins, and theme) directly from your wp-admin dashboard. Prerequisites To follow the steps in this guide, you will need: Your source site: a WordPress site with any other hosting provider (referred to as a seUnfortunately though, as it stands now, we are not able to help since it is hosted elsewhere. The good news is that help is available here at the open-source WordPress forums: https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting
The folks in that forum are more familiar with these kinds of issues and are in the best position to help.
Thanks!
