Admin Page Views Show Up In Stats (even though I am logged in)

  • Unknown's avatar

    My primary blog is jeshua21.wordpress.com

When I am logged in as yeshua21, the jeshua21 pages I view do not show up in the jeshua21 stats. Recently, I started a second blog: jwayneferguson.wordpress.com

When I am logged in as Yeshua21, I can administer the jwayneferguson blog, but it also counts my page views in the jwayneferguson stats. How can we fix it so that I do not run up the stats when working on the various pages? Thank you!

p.s. I thought I posted this earlier, but I did not receive an email and cannot find an answer when I search the forum. Please pardon me if it has already been answered — just point me in the right direction!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Howdy,

We’re sweeping through and catching up on threads that didn’t see a response in the last week or so. It appears you recently changed the blog from private to public. On private blogs, we do count visits from logged-in users of that blog (since if we didn’t, the stats would never increase!) while we ignore visits from logged-in users from public blogs.

Thanks for using WordPress.com and please let me know if you have any questions!
