Admin Panel Access
-
We have a new e-commerce platform, but our domain is currently connected to another platform and website provider. We are unable to access our WordPress (WP) admin panel. We need access to this panel to back up all our customer sales records. Our new website provider mentioned that they cannot access the panel because the URL is associated with WP, and they suggested contacting WP for assistance. We would greatly appreciate your help in this matter.
Thanks

Hi there!
Can you share the domain name and the site URL you want to access from WordPress.com so that we can check this for you?
The mauisuperherbs.wordpress.com site has always been on the Free option. So there won’t be any sales records to retrieve from. We’ll wait for your response.

Hi, thanks for your follow-up!
The site we had access to but no longer is https://www.mauicbd.com/wp-admin/

Thank you for sharing the URL with us.
The domain seems to be resolving to a site hosted by Weebly now.
Do you mean that you need to access a WordPress site you used to have for the domain? If so, it seems that the site was not hosted by us, as we do not see any previous connections to WordPress.com for this domain.
You will need to reach out to the hosting company you used to use for your old WordPress website to see if you can still regain access to it.

Before July 11, 2024, our domain was hosted by Cloudways and a WordPress site with a WooCommerce plug-in for our e-commerce. Our domain is pointing to Weebly, but they cannot access https://www.mauicbd.com/wp-admin/ since it is a WordPress URL. Furthermore, Cloudways no longer has access to the WordPress admin panel. Weebly and Cloudways have advised us to seek assistance from WordPress since they cannot access it. This situation has been frustrating as each platform points us to the other, and we feel like we’re going in circles. All we need is access to our customer files on the WordPress platform. Why cannot WP assist us?

Your site was a self-hosted site using the free, open-source WordPress software (https://wordpress.org), it is not the same as a website hosted at WordPress.com.
We do not have access to your site here at WordPress.com as we are a managed hosting service that is not linked with Cloudways. You will need to reach out to the host where WordPress was installed for assistance. We explain the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org here:
