Admin password missing; still possible to access?

    Hello,

yesterday I received an e-mail from one.com, the domain and webspace-provider of my website. It said, that there will be a webspace-update, which requires the newest version of WordPress.
Even though I am the owner of the domain and the webspace, I didn´t create and code it via WordPress, meaning I am not the admin. Years ago I assigned a “professional” to create the website. He indeed did a great job, but ever since getting paid he refuses to communicate with me, quite a long story.. Back then, I didn´t really think about needing the admin password in the future ever, which seems to have been a mistake.
Is there any possibility to achieve access to the admin-account of my homepage without having to force a trial? (which always involves additional costs).

I promise, this is no kind of “hacking” attempt, I just don´t wanna spend more time and money on figuring out the password for the admin account.

Excuse my english, english isn´t my native language.

    have a nice day!
