My other account (bettycakes site) comes up as my admin. for the bettysspecialcakes, I can’t post pic on bettysspecialcakes it goes to my bettycakes site. They seem to be crossed up. How can I add the 2 sites together under one account?

I don’t see how it’s possible that posting a pic on one site goes to the other site, even if it were in the same account, and you’ve indicated that they are not in the same account. Could you describe step-by-step how you are posting a pic on one site and find it posted instead on another site?

That’s odd. The link in your first post above goes to the site titled Bettycake’s Photo Blog And Other Stuff, while the link in my first post goes to the site titled Wedding Celebration Cakes (https://bettysspecialcakes.wordpress.com/).

No, that’s not possible on a WordPress.com account.

If you’re the owner of both sites, then you already do have one account email address for each, though you may have forgotten one of them.

Okay, but if they are under one account, then there will be just one account email address, one username, one author for both.

Where is that link? Can you describe the process you take step-by-step? If those two sites are in separate accounts, then you shouldn’t see both sites listed at My Site(s).

There is an admin page for that site. Do you remember the password? If so, then you should be able to log into that site here: https://wordpress.com/log-in. However, in order to do so you’ll need to either log out of the other account first or log into the bettysspecialcakes account on a different browser.

Yes the link bettysspecialcakes does go to site BUT when I click on the write button it goes into the bettycakes posting site. I did the login thing on another browser would not except password for bettysspecialcakes.
my bettysspecialcakes is not listed on “my sites” on bettycakes so I can’t get to it from there. I would like it to be listed then I could go between them much easier just don’t know how. I’m not very skilled on the computer. sorry. -

Do you have the correct password? Have you tried resetting the password? See the Passwords support page.

If you have trouble with the transfer or further questions, then don’t hesitate to add a “modlook” tag to the sidebar at right her to call for staff attention. If you add that tag, then staff will respond here.

I have no dashboard for bettysspecialcakes (weddingcelebration cakes)
when I go to the site the only dashboard that comes up is bettycakes.. I can’t get in to do any changing. -
As @musicdoc1 asked, have you gone through the password reset steps? From reading these posts, that seems like the next step to getting things back on track.
Let us know what happens when you attempt that!

Yes, but you’ve indicated above that you’ve been unable to log into the site, saying for example:

You won’t find the admin for that site until you are able to log into the account. If you don’t have the correct password then you might have to regain access to the account through the account recovery process. See the Account Recovery support page for information and instructions.
As I mentioned above you may add a “modlook” tag to the sidebar at right here to call for staff attention. If you add that tag, then staff will respond here.

Suggesting resetting the password was a mistake on my part, since she isn’t able to log into the bettysspecialcakes account in order to follow the steps in the Change Your Password section of the Passwords support page. However, that support page does include a section titled Lost Password that includes a link to the Lost Password page, which might be helpful.

Thanks for all your help but I think I will just give up. I have tried everything but I still can’t post pics to the bettysspecialcakes site. When I am on the site & go to the write button it still takes me to my bettycakes site. looks like the easiest thing to do is create another site under my bettycakes, and try to retrieve the pics from my bettysspecialcakes & post to a new site. I’m tired of trying to fix this one. thanks again.

In future, please post the full URLs of the sites you need help with at all time. bettysspecialcakes isn’t a site. https://bettysspecialcakes.wordpress.com/ is. Not using the full URL makes it very hard for anyone in this forum to help you.
https://bettysspecialcakes.wordpress.com/ belongs to the username, baf2008. To make changes to that site, you need to log out of your bettycakes account, and log in as the baf2008 account.
If you don’t remember the password for the baf2008 account, you need to follow the password reset steps that @musicdoc1 explained above, or if you don’t have access to the correct email for that account any more either, you need to follow the account recovery process outlined here:

Thanks for the info. When I set up the http://bettysspecialcakes.wordpress.com account my user name was BAF76 that’s what I have listed in MY files. How it got to be baf2008 I don’t know. That’s what I have listed in MY files for my http://bettycakes.wordpress.com account.

How can I login to the http://bettysspecialcakes.wordpress.com when I do try my http://bettycakes.wordpress dashboard comes up. I click on the write button and the bettycakes posting area comes up. I used the link you provided here to my site, it does the same thing. What am I doing wrong? -
When I set up the http://bettysspecialcakes.wordpress.com account my user name was BAF76 that’s what I have listed in MY files.
The username baf76 is still existent, but the gravatar profile associated with it has been deleted. See the page https://en.gravatar.com/profiles/baf76.
However, the gravatar profile page for baf2008 is valid and appears to be yours. See https://en.gravatar.com/profiles/baf2008. Also check out the forum profile page for the username baf2008, here: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/profile/baf2008. Topics listed there have the site https://bettysspecialcakes.wordpress.com/ identified as the site referred to in the support requests.

Another problem has cropped up. I got http://bettysspecialcakes.wordpress.com fixed, & posted a new pick. That’s good…But when I go to switch sites ( they are both listed now) to access my http://bettycakes.wordpress.com dashboard site it tell me it’s not there & most of the pics in library are gone. ???? I open my site from a link to just look at pics and it’s ok. ??? Seems passwords, user names etc are mixed up and I don’t know how fix it. :( I know you’re sick of looking at this post, so am I.
