If it’s hosted with us, you can regain access so long as you’ve been paying for upgrades.
If you’re trying to access an installation at another host, I’d recommend asking your host for help with these steps:

I still have access. We were paying a professional to handle everything for us and he stopped responding to my calls and emails when Covid hit six months ago. I am just trying to get everything taken care of before we do lose access.

From what I can see gcnarratives.com is not hosted on our WordPress.com service, but is instead hosted on Mediatemple.net as you can see here: https://gwhois.org/gcnarratives.com+dns
To keep your domain in good standing you will need to contact Mediatemple directly as the domain appears to be registered under your account there: https://mediatemple.net/support
