Admin Rights

    I recently purchased a third-party theme that was advertised as a WordPress theme. Now that I have it, I can’t seem to upload it to WordPress.

    When I goto Appearance >> Themes in the WP Admin panel, I don’t see the ‘Add New’ button at the top left of the screen. (I’ve seen that on others’ computers.) I was told that I may not have all of the admin rights, though I don’t see how that can be.

    Any ideas on how I can get the theme installed?

    It’s nothing to do with admin rights. You have a WordPress.com site and “third party” themes can’t be installed here. They are designed for self-hosted WordPress.org installs.
