Admin User Account Now Says User Does Not Exist

Hi, our admin account for (email visible only to moderators and staff) tells us the user does not exist when we try to login with it now. It worked fine prior to linking with Jetpack. Please advise how to get this account able to login again. Thanks!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there,

What site are you trying to access?

If this is an admin account on a self-hosted site using the open source WordPress software, we have no control over it. Those user credentials are stored in your site’s database on your hosting provider’s servers. We don’t have any access there to help you reset it.

For more help with this, please post in https://wordpress.org/support/ or contact your hosting provider instead.

I don’t know of any way that connecting Jetpack would prevent you from logging in using the Admin user on your site – it certainly won’t cause an error saying the user does not exist. But I do see there’s a problem with the Jetpack connection to your site:

    Jetpack

For more help with that you can contact Jetpack support here:
