  I tried to add a calendar to my blog and I was rudely responded with ‘you cannot make posts to wordpress9558.wordpress.com – cheaten uh.’ That’s messed up.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  wordpress9558.wordpress.com may be registered under a different user account, and that would prevent you from being able to post to it without being logged in correctly.

  http://www.avast.com is a self hosted site and was registered through Network Solutions. All WordPress.com sites (here) are hosted on WordPress.com as well.

  Self hosted sites use the installation of WordPress and can find support at http://wordpress.org/support/

  http://www.avast.com is the browser I used, which is also the antivirus protection.

  I used Firefox and this was the response.

  Oh sorry, I misunderstood, I thought http://www.avast.com was the site you needed help with.

  You are not logged into the account that owns wordpresscom9558.wordpress.com . The dashboard for that site can only be accessed when logged into the account that created it originally. Each WordPress.com account is registered with a unique email address, so the account that you need to log into is going to be registered with an email address that is different then the one associated with mitchelllinda45.

  You can visit Account Recovery for further help with your login.

  Hello there!

  Did you eventually manage to add the calendar in your site, or to post anything?
  Have also tried to access the site through another browser ie Chrome or Safari?

  Apparently all looks good as concerns the Administrators and the accounts connected with the site.

  Yes, it is working now. I have to fix SHARES and do some research and reading. Maybe I should start over so I can get the mechanics down and get some work done.
