Administer invitation not working
-
I was sent an invitation to administer the site ‘https://eatlocaloutreach.wpcomstaging.com/home/’. When I clicked on the original link, I was successfully logged in and could see the site. Now that I have logged out and back in, I can no longer see the site and my account says I do not have any sites. Why can I no longer see the site I am supposed to be administering?
Thank you for your help!

Hey Emily!
I took a look at that site and it does not appear that you are listed as a user on that site.
If the Site Owner is having trouble adding you, they can contact us instantly 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at https://wordpress.com/help/contact/ and we can work with them real time to figure out what’s wrong. In general as it’s their site, we would have to work with them and not a user that is not currently a member of the site.

Thanks for the quick reply!
This is very strange because I received an email that says
“Callum Batten has invited you to administer Eat Local Grey Bruce. As an administrator you will be able to do anything. Nothing is off-limits. Don’t let the power go to your head!”
Also, when I first clicked on ‘Accept Invite’ I was able to see the site through wordpress. I’ve asked them to resent the invite, but it still doesn’t make sense.

Hi @eatlocalmle,
Please try reconnecting to Jetpack by following this link: https://eatlocaloutreach.wpcomstaging.com/wp-admin/
Once you’ve logged in, the site should show under “My Sites” again.
I hope that helps and please reach out again if you have any further questions.

Hello,
I’ve tried your suggestion. It now says“We couldn’t find your account. If you already have an account, make sure you have connected to WordPress.com.”
