Administration Bar (insert Link, add Media) doesn't work at all

  I uploaded my blog to the internet from Apache localhost. Now I can neither add any pictures to my articles nor insert any links by using the administration bar and buttons. I can do this manually when I go to the html-text, but not with the buttons that are there in the administration area. I can click them (and they look as if they are clickable, not grey when you can’t use them), but absolutely nothing happens.

  Everything worked fine when the blog was hosted on localhost. I didn’t add any plugins or changed any configurations. Can this be a problem of any file administration rights (I am working with an Apple MacBook Air and this problem already occurred several times)?

  I can upload pictures to the media library without any problems.

  Hi,

  It appears you have a self hosted site based on your talk of “Apache”, etc. For help on this, you will need to move this over to the wordpress.ORG forum. http://wordpress.org/support/

  You will be required to register for a separate account with them, too, to post your question . The button is in the upper right-hand corner. :)
