I’ve lost administrative rights to my blog. I can add posts but not pages.

Looks like you’re referring to barnabasproject.wordpress.com which the account you’re currently logged in to is only an author. To gain access to the administrator account of that blog, please follow our Account Recovery guide:

I don’t have any of the three things listed on the Account Recovery Form. The only things I have that show that I was the administrator are some e-mails that only the administrator would have received, like notices that so-and-so is now following the blog, and such like. These e-mails are on my hard drive as .eml files, and I can send you copies. I can also tell you that the e-mail addresses I used prior to (email visible only to moderators and staff) were (email visible only to moderators and staff) and (email visible only to moderators and staff). One of those was probably the address I was using when I first set up the blog.
Your records should show that the administrator’s e-mail address was until a month or so ago (email visible only to moderators and staff), which has been my address for some years now. The blog had been dormant for a while, and when I revived it I made some changes in my account, and one of those somehow left me as an author but not the administrator. Please help!

The site owner also would have received an email to activate the account. You can use that for recovery.

Do you have access to the original email address still — the one the .eml files are from? You may be able to contact ‘passwordhelp@wordpress.com’ with the change of address notifications you received to see if that will help.

No, I contacted them today but they confirmed that since that e-mail account was closed five years ago there is no way to access it. If there is a way I can attach something to this note, I could show you one of the e-mails I received as administrator telling me when I had a new follower etc.
That’s really all the evidence I have.
