    I’m part of a group that has a blog. I’m soon leaving the group and we’re having some problems changing the roles. I have administrator role, I didn’t start the blog but the starter has been removed already beforehand. I can’t downgrade my role, and I can’t delete myself either. There is already another administrator for the blog (role has been assigned). What can we do?

    Hello. When you say the starter of the blog has been removed, does that mean that ownership was transferred to you? It would involve a process like the one detailed at https://en.support.wordpress.com/transferring-a-site-to-another-wordpress-com-account/view-all/

    Normally that is the only way to remove the blog owner. If that happened and ownership went to you, you should complete that same process again.

    If you are not the blog owner, the other administrator should be able to remove you. This would be completed by going to Users -> All Users in the dashboard. They would then move the cursor over your username and select Remove.

    If this does not help, please let me know and we can have a staff memeber review the user roles.
