Administrator control over Authors

  Can I add an author to a wordpress.com blog? We have an employee/author that has not been able to get set up. I am getting the message that his account is blocking emails and he picked an account name that we don’t necessarily we want to use. Can I set up an author? Can I edit user accounts?

  Login as admin into your dashboard ..
  https://yourblogname.wordpress.com/wp-admin/

  here replace “yourblogname” with the wordpress blog name you are using.

  You can invite more contributors and set their roles. Please check the below links for the steps …

  Yes, I did this and the invitation says Waiting under Date Accepted. When the person tries to accept the invitation, he gets an error message. When I try to resend an invitation, I get the message
  “Invitation not sent, the user has blocked invite emails.”
