Is there any way that I can perform administrative duties on a blog, but not “own” that blog. I am currently the admin for Love, War, & the Meaning of Life for Robert Brownbridge. I’ve helped him set it up and have to frequently walk him through how to do things on his site. But I see that my name is associated with his blog. When he comments elsewhere in WP, his comments do not link back to L,W,&tMoL. How can I help him out. He’s getting no followers and I think it is because people don’t get linked to his site.

    Thanks.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The person with the username account that registers a blog is the blog’s owner and the original Admin of the blog. You can make another username account an Admin of the blog and then use the process to transfer the blog to that username account.

After your do that this is for the person with username account you are transferring to. Here’s how to link your username to your blog in your blog Dashboard -> Users -> Personal Settings -> then scroll down to Account Details. Then scroll down to where it says ‘Primary Blog‘ select the URL for your primary wordpress.com blog and then save changes.

Thereafter every time you sign into the forum we can all click on your username and your blog will be linked to it. And every time you leave a comment on a blog your username can be likewise clicked and your blog can be instantly located.

    This change is not retroactive.
