Administrator personal settings

I had two administrators with two different email addresses. Then I deleted one of the administrators. Now I want to change the Admin email address to the address that was used by the deleted Admin, but I get an error message saying that the email address is already in use. Is this a matter of needing to wait a certain amount of time, or is there something else I am missing?

You need to change the email address on the first account before you can use the email on another account. See this page for details:
