Adobe PDF does not display in post

  I have been working on a post that involves displaying a PDF with a link to a website. I can upload the PDF but when I go to insert the media, the only thing that shows is the text I have put in for the caption. The text is a link to the PDF so it is there.

  Is there anyway to get the PDF to show up fully displayed in a post? I am thinking I am doing it incorrectly some how.

  Wp.com blogs cannot read and display PDF files directly. You can embed them in your blog after you upload them to Scribd or Issuu.
