adobe redirect

    Original Question

“my site http://www.blacksmite.com/index.php/BrainwashedMasses/brainsalad/ redirects to a fake adobe site. I have tried everything suggestion on the web and even deleted the theme directory and copied a new one in its place of untouched files. It only redirects when the WordPress site itself loads. Any suggestions? I cannot get rid of it.”

Despite the answer received about not hosting with one of your hosts really does not help. Although I cannot hold wordpress responsible, it is definitely something generated from the wordpress software for the site. If you do not know what it is then possibly that would be the answer I should receive. However if I am the only one that has this problem then it would seem redundant for me to ask. But I cannot isolate this issue and is deterring me from wanting to continue this site with wordpress. Of course that would not be much of a threat because I do not pay for this service, and would relieve me as a headache if I did, however the last suggestions did not lead me to a solution. So if you have anything else at all that might shed some light, then I would appreciate this.
    Thanks

Hi there, it looks like in your earlier thread our volunteer also pointed you to the forums for the standalone WordPress software at https://wordpress.org/support where they likely have more experience with the type of issue you are having.

Just to clarify, this support forum assists users of WordPressdotcom hosted sites and the guidance provided here may not be relevant to DIY WordPress.org sites hosted with an external hosting provider (e.g. Bluehost, GoDaddy, etc.). For more information on the differences: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

Best wishes for a quick resolution.
