  Hello,
  I’m new to WordPress and we just bought our site and domain name through you. We are starting an online magazine and want to know if ads are an option. It looks like there is a widget, but it’s not clear how to install it or if this is reserved for certain types of sites. Thanks!

  Hi @humaninsights14 – You are not permitted to run any third party ads on your WordPress.com site. This holds true regardless of your plan. This information is discussed in the WordPress.com Advertising Support Guide.

  You can apply to WordAds once you get your site up and running. WordAds are the only permitted advertising for WordPress.com.
