I have a blogspot blog where ads are only allowed if they include a rel=’nofollow’ code. Advertisers do not like this. Are ads allowed on WordPress without the rel=’nofollow’ ?

Hello rootjosh. Thank you for your reply but I’d read the info. in the link before leaving this question and didn’t understand it. Still don’t!
Is it that WordPress bloggers may accept revenue from sponsored posts but not from stand-alone adverts?
And I don’t know whether the rel=’nofollow’ is something only blogspot users have to include with adverts or whether WordPress bloggers have to use it too.
I’m sorry I’m finding this so hard to grasp.

No blogger initiated advertising is allowed on WordPress.COM hosted blogs. The only advertising program at WordPress.com is called WordAds and it’s for blogs on their own domains.
