Ads

I write a blog intended for family-rated content. A recent visitor to my site was shown very inappropriate ads. What can be done to prevent these kind of ads from popping up in the future?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Ads have been appearing on WordPress.COM sites since 2006. Unless you purchase a Personal plan http://wordpress.com/pricing or a higher level Premium Plan or Business Plan there will be ads placed by WordPress.COM on your site. https://en.support.wordpress.com/no-ads/
If the ads you see are found at the end of blog posts then provided you see this small About These Ads link then what you are seeing is WordPress.com generated advertising. http://en.wordpress.com/about-these-ads/
Any other ads appearing to you or your visitors are not placed by WordPress.com and result from an issue on a browser or computer. These ads are sometimes caused by malware or a virus, but more often it is due to a browser extension or toolbar that you may have installed in your browser.
If an ad contains offensive content take a screenshot and report it to Staff by typing modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread. Then Staff can check it out.
Screenshots can be very helpful. You can use http://snag.gy/ or http://cloudup.com to share screenshots and link to them here. If you use the WordPress.com guide for screenshots http://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/ you can and upload it to your Media Library, and return to this thread to provide the file name so Staff can examine it.

Hi there,
No two people viewing your site will see the same ads, as that is based on their location, their browser history, and a host of other factors, so there is nothing we can do to even investigate without a screen shot of the exact ad you are speaking of.
Our advertising partners only show family-safe ads on WordPress.com. It’s possible an individual advertiser might have managed to get an ad past their filters, but we’ll need to know exactly what ad your site visitor was shown to be able to follow up on this.
