  I will on occasion provide additional information via a link, and when doing so I get the ads from that link. I am considering a paid plan from wordpress, would that delete ALL ads from my blog?

  Is it possible you made your purchase under a different login? What is the URL of the site associated with the upgrade you are needing help with? Happy to check in our system so we can take a closer look.

  I have not made a purchase yet. I am asking if I upgrade will the ads generated from the link, I include in a post go away. I understand the WordPress ads will go away … will all ads go away? Thanks.

  Ads help us cover our hosting costs, so any paid plan will get rid of them entirely. Any other ads you might see would probably be from your browser, not from WordPress itself.

  Of course if you decide to monetize your site with ads later on, you’d have ads again, but that would be by your choice.

  yes ads will be removed once you have upgraded to the Personal Plan and higher, https://wordpress.com/pricing/
