Ads appearing even with no ads paid for

    I have paid for no ads to appear on my website (bushtelegraph.biz) for some time now and a couple of days ago I saw an ad on one of my posts.

    I posted a new post today and it said ‘sometimes your viewers may see ads here’ which I am sure I havn’t seen since paying for no ads.

    I have checked that I am up to date with the payment which is not due until April16.

    How do I resolve this issue?

    Have you logged out and cleared your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and then viewed the blog without logging in?

If you use the WordPress.com guide for screenshots http://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/ you can and upload it to your Media Library, and return to this thread to provide the file name so Staff can examine it.

    Thanks timethief. I had logged into my computer without being logged into wordpress when I saw the ads.

    I usually stay logged in but I will remain logged out to see if I can see another ad.

    But I am also pretty sure that I stopped seeing this message (the screenshot of this is in my media Library called ‘ads on bt website’)
    since I started paying for the no ads service.

    Hi Julie,

    I have looked into our records. Currently, your WordPress.com account, juliedemo.wordpress.com only has the domain mapping upgrade active. This upgrade allows you to use a domain you purchased elsewhere (in your case bushtelegraph.biz) however, it does not remove ads.

    To remove ads you’ll need to add the No Ads upgrade to your site by purchasing WordPress.com Premium or WordPress.com Business plan.

    Ah ha. Sorry – I see it had run out in May and I didn’t get a reminder as my sister had paid because you had previously not accepted my credit card as it is from Africa.
    By they way, thank you for opening Africa’s credit cards now!
