Ads appearing on my blog
-
I purchased the custom design upgrade bundle last February (with ad blocking) and now for the first time ads are appearing all over my WordPress site!
Even when I am logged on and editing my site every time I move to a new page I am inundated with multiple ads on the rt side, top and bottom of the page.
This needs to stop!
How??The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

There are no text link ads and there are no pop-up ads placed by WordPress.com. Then can however appear to you as the result of a browser add-on or toolbar or downloading anything that has adware embedded into it.
All WordPress.com placed ads are easy to identify as this link accompanies them http://en.wordpress.com/about-these-ads/
Any other ads you see are not placed on the blog by WordPress.com. They are coming from a browser extension or toolbar. These sites have further explanation and suggestions for eliminating the ads: http://www.littletechiethings.com/2012/06/how-to-remove-ads-not-by-this-site.html http://blog.wikimedia.org/2012/05/14/ads-on-wikipedia-your-computer-infected-malware/ http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2012/09/14/bloggers-beware-of-adware/
If you use the information at the sites I linked to and still see ads please post screenshot http://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/ Upload it to your Media Library, and return to this thread to provide the file name so Staff can examine it. Then type modlook into the sidebar.

Hi there,
Ads of the nature you describe are not run on WordPress.com, and I didn’t see any ads when visiting your site. Here’s a screenshot of how your site looks to me: https://cloudup.com/cKS8BIRsmtz
As timethief mentioned, it’s possible for ads to appear in your browser that were *not* placed there by WordPress.com. These ads are sometimes caused by malware or a virus, but more often it is due to a browser extension or toolbar that you may have installed in your browser. I recommend visiting the links timethief provided to learn more about how to remove them.
If you continue to have trouble with these ads, you’re welcome to make a screenshot of what you see on your site. You can upload screenshots to your Media Library under Media > Add New in your dashboard, or you can use an online service like Snaggy.

Thank you @timehief and @rachelmcr for your response.
You were both correct. The ads were originating from a malware program that I found and eliminated from my hard drive. What confused me was that the ads were only appearing on my WordPress site, not on other internet pages but now that I have deleted the malware from my computer the problem is solved.
Thanks again.
