ADS APPEARING ON MY PREMIUM SITE

  I have been a premium wordpress user for some time now. Over the past few days, I had had pop-up ads appearing on my site. This is unacceptable, of course – and a violation of my terms of service as a premium client.

  How can this be made to stop?

  If the ads you see are found at the end of blog posts then provided you see this small About These Ads link what you are seeing is WordPress.com generated advertising. http://en.wordpress.com/about-these-ads/

  Any other ads appearing to you are not placed by WordPress.com. If you see any other ads then you could have an issue on your browser or computer. Unfortunately they can be being placed there by software on your own computer or your visitors’. Such ads are sometimes caused by malware or a virus, but more often it is due to a browser extension or adware found in some games and shopping sites and toolbars that may have been installed in a browser.

  Hi there,

  Please note that we never run ads of the nature you describe.

  It’s possible for ads to appear in your browser that were *not* placed there by WordPress.com as @timethief mentioned. Unfortunately, many times it is malware or a virus. I just viewed your site and I’m not seeing any ads on my end.

  Please take a look at the links timethief has given you and see if that helps.
