ADs in my blog without my knowledge
-
I opened my blog today and saw that all of my posts have ads at the bottom. I didn’t know why they are there without wordpress informing me that they will run some adds in my blog. Anyone?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

To support the service (and keep free features free), we do sometimes run advertisements. We try hard to make the ads discreet and effective and only run them in limited places. If you would like to completely eliminate ads from appearing on your blog, we offer the No-Ads Upgrade.

I have a similar concern about advertisements on my blog. I am aware that to keep wordpress free there must be ads; however, it says these ads will be discrete and in limited places. I have not seen the ads, but I have been informed by a family member that they have seen ads on all my recent posts of which have been very large and noticeable, some with images the same size as the ones I am posting. I don’t mind the “discrete” ads, but ones that are extremely distracting and overtaking my blog are a problem. The ads that I have been told about were for insurance and the super bowl.
my blog is an art blog whitecubediaries.wordpress.com and these non-related, large ads are problematic. Is there any way to control what kind of ads, frequency of their appearance, or the size of them without an upgrade?

They apparently have a contaminated browser, especially if they’re the only one reporting this to you.
