Ads obscuring content

  Hi, I accept that free sites are subject to advertisements. And I’ve had my blog for years and ads always were placed in a way that it did not interfere with my content. But now Ads have totally taken over my real estate to the point that my feed can’t load and when I arrive on any page-I cannot even click the Privacy and Cookies thing to say I accept etc. because the ad covers it.

  So it is placed in a manner that forces the user to click the ad. Plus it’s the same ad in two different areas of each page making it impossible for the page to finish loading or resolve. It’s an ad from Iberia airlines and I went to the site that is propagating the AdChoices and Opted out of whatever would let me. But the same ad persists.

  HELP PLEASE-THESE ADS HAVE DEVOURED MY SITE!!!

  Hi laharypittman,

  I cannot even click the Privacy and Cookies thing to say I accept etc. because the ad covers it.

  I’ve visited laharypittman.wordpress.com but didn’t encounter any ads obscuring content. It would be great if you could make a screenshot of what is happening and upload it to your Media Library.

  Ads shouldn’t be obscuring content or buttons though — we’ll be able to take a closer look once we can see what is happening on your side.
