ads on a site with the "no ads" upgrade
-
I have “no ads” upgrade and yet people report seeing ads on my site (multipleliteraciesandstem.wordpress.com). I found a response on the community pages for http://kelseyafrey.com where the website owner saw ads and the responder did not and asked for a screen shot. My problem is the opposite. I don’t see ads, but others are reporting ads. One person wrote: “The website now contains an Audi Youtube commercial with a strange dog.” I need to be absolutely sure that there are no ads on this site because it goes with a scholarly article and is totally inappropriate. How do I solve this issue?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

http://alinesoules.com/ is the only blog on your account with a WordPress Premium Bundle, so that isn’t showing any ads.
http://multipleliteraciesandstem.wordpress.com/ is showing ads, so if you’d like to remove ads from there, you’ll need to at least purchase a No-Ads Upgrade: http://store.wordpress.com/premium-upgrades/ad-free/

I thought I needed to do that, but when I clicked that option to make that purchase, I was told I already had a no-ads upgrade.

When you visit http://store.wordpress.com/premium-upgrades/ad-free/ hover your mouse over the blue “Get rid of Ads” button.
You should see a list drop down where you can specifically select the blog which does not have the upgrade.

Okay. I did that and paid for the no ads upgrade on Jan. 30.
How long before the ads disappear? Under my web site heading is this:
When should I expect to see the ads go? I still see an ad under my header that says: “4 out of 5 dentists recommend this WordPress.com site” and I need that gone, too. -
The 4 out of 5 Dentists bit is just your site’s tagline, not an ad. :)
You can change that at Settings -> General in your blog’s Dashboard.
